Thanks! And yes, as I mentioned in the intro most of the information has been written many different places throughout the forum. Just not altogether in one spot to go over everything. I'm hoping this eliminates the need for the threads asking questions about this stuff to be constantly showing up and people like myself, CHP, lowUFO or many others needing to repeat the same information over and over.

I'm pretty certain you covered almost everything needed for everyone, just have to get people looking. I have put the link in my sig to hopefully help guide members to the right location.

Would you use the same wheel and tire fitment guide for 2500 aplications? I have a 2013 PW (will be leveled) going to go with aftermarket wheels and tires. I dont want the tires to extend much past the factory fender flares. Fuel maverick rims 20" or 22" and either Nitto terra grapplers, Trail grapplers tires. what wheel tire combos would work to achieve this result.

Yes and no.... As far as how far the tires will stick out, yes the numbers will be fairly similar. But because the suspension on a 2500 is way different there's way more clearance on the inside. So the inside clearance numbers don't apply. You can run more of a positive offset to keep the wheels tucked under the truck but still have room for wider tires.

If you want to stick fairly flush with the flares I'd look at 20 or 22x9 +12 offset or you could go with a 0 offset if you want to be out slightly past them. Check the thread HERE on Cummins Forum. It will give you a better idea of what different set ups look like on HD trucks. The specs will be pretty much the same on 3rd and 4th gens as far as inside clearance and outward poke is concerned.

Have had my truck for almost 3 months now and looking to do my first mod. Thinking about doing the bilstein 5100s to level it off. Now, do I need to replace the rear with bilsteins as well? Not currently thinking about doing a lift, just the level. So can I run the bilsteins up front with a completely stock setup in the rear? Thanks in advance for any input.

Yes you can install the Bilsteins in the front without doing anything to the rear. Replacing the rear shocks will only give you a slightly better ride, it won't do anything for the height.

Thanks! I assumed that would be the case but we all know what happens when you assume!
This will be getting done soon as the weather warms up here in Pittsburgh!
