Welcome to the RamForumZ, Darrin. Your biggest ally for gas mileage is the right pedal. The big 3, CAI, exhaust and tuner will give you some minor gains. But keeping your foot out of it will give you the best results.

Its winter.. so 26L/100kms is not unheard of with the warming up of trucks and just letting them idle etc. And again it ALL has to do with how you drive. I have a 2010 Ram hemi and my buddy has a 2012 Ram Hemi and I am running 21L/100kms and he's upwards to 28L/100kms.. go figure.. and I think he even has the 6 speed...

I have seen few cars go with true dual exhaust and net about .5 mpg. How that may or may not translate to our truck, I have no idea, Be may be something to it.

i dont think the cost will justify any meager, if any, gains you would net.

I have a 2013 4x4 1500 with the 8 speed. I removed the main muffler and everything back and added straight pipe and bigger tips. It didn't add much at all for economy but it sounds good, reduced some weight, and in my case i'm hoping to sell the stock resonators and tips along with the stock 1 to 2 muffler and get some of my cost back lol

along with exhaust upgrades,if you add a performance air intake you should notice a slight gain in mpg. as long as you keep your foot out of the throttle,as your engine will breath easier.
