Alright well since my football days ended, my workout commitment has been pretty crappy. Today I start back up my workout program and meal plan (goodbye cookies ).

For members that enjoy working out/ exercise, what is your favorite muscle group to work? favorite exercise? Do you have a strict down to the exact rep workout or go to the gym and work what you feel is right on that day?

Time to get back on the horse again, and today will be a heavy legs day, I will be crawling into my truck..

I am a fan of Beach body programs. My Wife and I have bought these programs over the years. P90X, P90X2, P90X3, Body Beast, Insanity. It all depends on how much time a day you have to workout and what you like to do. Body beast is all lifting. P90X and X2 are hour long workouts so you need the time. X3 is the newest and the workouts are only 30min. My wife does that one. I like X2 the best it is a good combo of lifting and Cardio. Insanity will get you in shape fast, the workouts are absolutely brutal, its all cardio. You can find them on craigslist usually for good prices. We use to have Gym memberships but these are much cheaper than that. Plus its motivating and structured if you need or like that. And its nice to be able to do it at home.

I only do right arm curls, 12 ounces is my specialty

honestly i have not lifted much since i blew out both shoulders, rotators cuffs had to be operated on, both surgeries were over 10 years ago

Kinda with you here. Although I don't do the 12 oz curls Rotator gone on my right shoulder as it absolutely kills to play catch with my son when I have to throw back to him and both knees operated of from playing "recreational" baseball. That and I am old now.

I also loved doing legs made me feel strong and powerful hahah. I miss that after work out feeling. Might be time to get back into something

I like to work out when I can. Lift + cardio 3x a week ideally. Gotta get in shape for our trip to Cancun next month.

Still gotta look good for the wife.

By nature of my job I have to work or I'll be a fat bastard and get kicked out lol. I generally switch out between weights and cardio weekly; one week it's MWF lift, ten TT cardio. Week after TT lift, MWF cardio. Varying how and what I lift helps alot.

Lol its just what I have always done. I played uni football before destroying my rotator cuft. I had 1 rep max of 3000 flat bench and 510 pound deadlift and a 475 squat. Now not that good.

WOW ! 3000 on flat bench. Now that is impressive.
I do workout because I have to. Like someone above said its job related. I just started doing P90X a while ago and find it to be good break from going to the gym everyday.
