Default Brembo brakes ....

Has anyone dones the measurements for factory brembos on all the other dodge vehicles to see which ones might possibly swap to the rams.

The LX/LY/WX Brembos will not mount up to the truck, been tried several times. The SRT10 brakes will apparently mount to the 4th gens but I haven't seen anyone actually do it.

i thought if any car had a shot it would be the new jeep srt-8 since those brakes fit the durango and durango and ram are similar somewhat....i might call lkq see if they will let me test fit a set my R/T would really pop if it had brembos to fill out those 22s

ok i just gave myself a brain tumor figuring this out....bear with me
the aspen/durango/ram/cherokee all share the same caliper mounting bracket
the hub and calipers are the same on the srt-8 cherokee and durango....
the knuckle on the aspen/durango is the same and that spindle crosses to the ram 1500

so by all those calculations the 2012 jeep brembos will bolt to our factory spindle (provided that the srt-8 cherokee doesnt have a different spindle then the reg GC) the things that dont cross tells me that the rotor is going to be the variable since the hub on the ram and durango doesnt cross i am betting the depth is the issue but it might just be a matter of using the srt-8 cherokee rotors as well as calipers

sorry if thats confusing but you should see the piece of paper in front of me....

Just to give you an aneurysm, could you swap the spindle over?

also the srt10 ram brakes should fit since the caliper bracket has been the same from 02-12

i have been doing math and taking measurements from a few sites i think the 12-14 srt-8 jeep calipers and pads with the srt-10 rotors is going to work the pad surface is in line the only issue that might come up is if the caliper hits the hub worst case i have to machine a bracket for the caliper and space it out a smidge srt-10 rotors are similar thickness and diameter as the rotors on the jeep .... the pad thickness x2+ plus rotor thickness all works out and matches so it will be a matter of offset to the rotor and depth of the caliper......
