Default Brakes at 64,000

I have 64000 on my 2009 Truck the Brakes are still working from original no squeaking yet but I am not sure if the rotors are warped as they feel like the ABS
is working in most breaking especially on step hills. I don't want to change the rotors unless I have to also in looking at reviews of break pads most people recommend the pads they have just bought but it is hard to find the difference between the makes and types of pads

I do 90% highway driving, i just changed my brake pads at 100,000 miles
I replaced the OEM pads with POSI QUIET pads, they were highly recommended

the rotors had a lip on them, so they were turned by a shop that i have used since about 1980

The OEM front discs can be turned twice, the rears are thinner & can only be turned once. The specs are stamped into the face of the rotors

Hi GT thanks for the reply Funnily today I had an oil change and the brakes reacted a lot softer no ABS feel. My truck has been driven under mixed conditions plenty of freeway, city, back and forth on the bendy roads to N cal coast and the hills around Napa valley. The hills seem to bring the ABS to work a lot sooner than I would think but it might be to cool the rotors?

just done mine last weekend, have 31000 kms and the front rotors are toast pitted rusted and warped, pads at about half but fell apart, rear pads at limit and are close to falling apart, but rotors still very smooth oddly enough. i put on powerstop drilled and slotted up from and powerstop ceramic pads all around. noticleable difference and with the lift and tires ill use all the extra stopping power i can get...i do a lot of city driving so my brakes take a beating. the red paint has been on for 2 1/2 years now with no touchups, duplicolour engine enamel if anyone's interested.

I might have to do some after market brakes like this on my daughter's 2005. Looks nice and stops better too. Nice combo.

Powerstop is all I will ever run on my ram. I have had them on every ram I have owned (4 now) and they are unbeatable for the price.

The trailer tow kit is better than the standard, but not by much. I tow all manner of stuff, a lot of which I probably should tow with a 3/4 ton, I have only ever bought the towing kit once. The Evolution ceramic kit is almost as good, the towing kit in my opinion doesn't offer enough improvement to offset the increased cost.

Wow, were the pads even touching the rotors? That's a strange wear pattern on them.
