This is a witch hunt for GM. 43 incidents out of 3 MILLION+ vehicles.

Odds of having an incident is 0.00001%.

This is a non-issue. CLEARLY there is a dark force turning this mole hill into a mountain. The question is...why?

This is as loony as the NHTSA forcing Chrysler to recall older Jeeps because they meet the safety standards at the time they were made but not now.

43 incidents isn't the concerning number, it's the 13 deaths that have been linked to the problem. The real issue is that GM knew about the problem and sat on it, no witch hunt needed when you hang yourself. I also think that NHTSA knew or failed to investigate way before they did and they are partially responsible.
