here is a run where you can tell I didn't hit it til like 30 ft out..

man that looks sweet. I was thinking of doing the tb spacer with the tapped nozzle aswell. I was looking at the hemi truck kit from zex, it has a purple NMU (nitrous management unit) which im sure is the same thing as your black box. do these kits come with the WOT sensor in them or would I have to get that separate? and if you hook up an arming switch and a TPS WOT sensor does that allow it to cut of the NOS at your shift points and when your under 3000 rpms off the line?

only reason I ask is because from what ive read you don't want to spray through the shift or while your under like 2800 or so. To do that wouldn't you need the Window switch to set at different RPMs?

Or could you do what Hydrex said and get a hot button and when you get above 3000 rpms pressit then right before like 5300 let of it and repeat that going through all the gears?

Thanks for all yalls help on this. theres a lot more that what I thought after I started doing the research.

Yup...mine was purple..I painted it black to be inconspicuous , the nmu has everything, you just tap the tps wire onto the pedal sensor (seems to be the 2nd wiring) and that will take care of when the nitrous lights up. I just took this pic for Mike for reference:

also, for power wiring, i hooked it up to a cig lighter acc switch so that I can tell it when to hit...at the track if I hit it from the gitgo I'll spin so i keep my thumb on this switch til about 60ft out and then turn it on to light it up...

You obviously spray through your shifts. I've never heard its bad to spray under 2800, only thing is that the engine isn't flowing as much air but I doubt it would puddle nitrous in the intake.

I am going to wire mine to an on/off switch but mount the switch in the dash, and use a WOT tps voltage switch. I think the Zex is one of the better kits so that is what I'm going to go with although I might buy a hemi throttle plate from Nitrous Express and use that instead of the nozzle that the zex kit uses. If it spins too much then I will install a window switch and set it from 3000-6000 RPM so that when I'm on the line it will roll a bit before the nitrous comes on at 3k.

Fred's powering on his system once he's past the 60 foot so that's sort of like a window switch but more so like a delay box. Say you know your truck 60 ft's at 2.1 seconds consistently so you set a delay box up for a 2.5 sec delay at WOT. It won't engage til your 2.5 seconds out which puts you past the 60 ft mark.
