Default Becoming a better shepard.

So I am getting better at taking care of my Ram. I got my detailing routine down to 3 hours, once a week. I have a question on two things at the moment.

1. How do the pros take care of the black plastic trim? When I bought my ram I used a Mequiers product that came as a sponge in a pouch for $2.99. But the next day, there were oily streaks down the sides, looked terrible.

2. Seems like no matter how hard I try, there is always water trapped in the trim of the side view mirrors, and it runs down the side for at least through the next day. ( Annoying because this is when it should look perfect ). Any thought?

Thanks!

1. get a product called quartz flux for your plastic trim...awesome and will not streak. it will even restore faded plastic.

2. use a leaf blower (or the exhaust of your shop vac, or a compressor ) to blow the air out of the cracks and crevices.

Primo, he's the man! (I've been thinking that a trip to Southern Ontario and stopping by Primo's house would be worth the gas money... )

primo does it again! I 100% agree on the blower to dry the truck. Not only the mirrors, but the wheels, grille, body seams, and even under the gas-fill door are impossible to dry without one, and will continue to "weep" water onto your fresh detailing job.
