The update was added for US the other day, it shows up if I enter my VIN. I have downloaded it but not installed it. I'm still on the version before last, where Shuffle stays on, not sure if there is anything here that makes it worth losing that!

Just downloaded, but not going to install just yet. All is running fine, except for maybe my text notifications. But in any case I finally figured out and was able to download it with Chrome. Once you finish the Netsession installer thingy, it's supposed to start/prompt you for the download. Well I read the FAQ where they tell you to enable some script permission if using Chrome. I couldn't find it for the life of me, but then...ah ha. While on the screen immediately following the session installer, I saw a shield icon in the address bar next to the favorites star. I clicked it in desperation and sure enough that was it. The download prompted me for a path and off I went. This on a MAC no less. Tried from work earlier but didn't see the shield until now at home. Home this helps some of you out there trying to download. Keep the reviews coming.

UPDATE: Just got off phone with tech support for Uconnect, version 14.05.03 is being used for all USA and Canada updates even though Website claims the opposite.

I just installed on radio and it worked like a charm

Yep, clicking the shield (In google Chrome) and allowing unsafe script made it go right to downloading! I'll install shortly and see what happens.

Any other updates on this update yet. Seems like since they moved it to this Uconnect section it doesn't get the attention it deserves. When past updates were left in the '13 section they blew up with feedback, I don't think many are seeing this here. Just my .02

BUMP!!

I would say the problem is that there are probably 4 different Uconnect threads but all dealing with updates. Individuals have to learn to use the search function first, as their concerns may already be on the discussion list.

I do not know if the Moderators can combine all the threads or not, it does depend on the Bulletin Board software.

The search only works if you are actually looking for something in particular. If someone is just browsing by scanning titles for items that interest them they may never find all of them. I know I found it a lot easier to just read the 2013 main thread for things I was interested in. Now things are so spread out all over the place that I miss a lot of threads that might have otherwise interested me.

I have to somewhat disagree with you. I just did a search for keywords "uconnect updates", there are 11 threads with entries since the beginning of February, 2014.

You are correct in just "browsing" that is why I stated they should learn to use the search function.

I remember finding a thread, a couple updates ago, that had some really nice, detailed, .pdf style instructions, for doing the Uconnect update once you have the USB stick ready. It had instructions like, open the door, close the door, turn this on, turn that off, all while the install is going on. Crazy stuff no one would ever think of. Seriously.

Anyone know of that? Doing a search, which I did to get here, didn't pull up the info. Otherwise, I'll probably just use the YouTube video, that's been around for a bit.
