Default To lift or not to lift. The Question!

Hey guys, well guys i'm raising the white flag after days of eye bleeding google searching. My dilemma is i currently have bilsteins sitting in the garage waiting to be installed. However regardless of level or if i decide to go 4 inch lift, im running 20's and 35's. What im hung up on is wishing i would have gone with a lift once i get everything installed and on with the level only. So with this i have a few questions and i have searched high and low and came up with some resolutions but i'd rather hear personal input so please refrain from the use the search function responses

1- Im looking to run at least a 0 offset because i'm looking for 1"-2" in poke from the fenders. Preferably 2 inches.
2- I've read some guys have pulled off 20x10 with offset in the negatives with minimal trimming with a level only? Anyone have any pics? could not seem to find pictures only responses of people claiming to run that combo in other forums.
3- what is the best option to go 4 inch with already having the bilsteins? in terms of lifting the front, because if im not mistaken most people are running just a block/coil spacers in the rear depending on the height they're going after?

1) If you want exactly 2" of poke with a 35x12.5 tire you'll want a 20x9 -12 offset wheel.
2) You can definitely run a 20x10 -12 offset wheel with a level. It will take some trimming but it's very do-able. Check out the Guide to Leveling & Wheel and Tire Sizing. There's a number of links in there to different setups guys are running on leveled trucks.
3) If you want to stay on the cheaper side of things take a look at the Zone Offroad kits. If you want to spend a little more money take a look at BDS. Either way you'll want your Bilsteins set a 0.7" to sit level.

Brandon would the bilsteins be set a 0.7 to level with lift or did you mean shocks only no lift.

Bilsteins set at 0.7" will level a 4" lift. If you want to use them just to level you will want them at 2.1" or 2.8".

Just an update. Going to be installing my bilsteins probably this week/weekend. Ordered rubber finally! went with mastercraft corsair mxt's couldn't beat 270 a tire mounted balanced installed. Aside from that tonight or tomorrow i'll be ordering wheels however still unsure at what im looking to go with. So far it's between fuel mavericks and the maverick 2 piece with polished aluminum or the moto metal 962's. If anyone has any opinions pics advice sure would appreciate it. Never knew choosing wheels would be this hard lol!

@Brandon, thanks for the link to leveling and wheel sizing. I'm somewhat new here and have seen so many different threads on these issues, this helps being able to sort through it in one location. Thanks, Nathan

well to keep everyone updated installed the 5100's today. Ending up setting them at 2.8 after researching a little more, however unless these shocks settle a bit i'm 100% going to have to order the rear spacer. Looks terrible right now. You guys think the .75 spacer would be what to go with or?
