Absolutely. It's my daily driver but I tow a 35 foot Travel trailer. I'm a home owner and do it your self-er, so I've hauled plywood, topsoil, mulch, lumber, stone, Sheetrock, flooring and a few bags of groceries.

I bought a truck to use it as a truck. But I also have a family of four with a dog, so it's my family vehicle too. I've had it full of scrap wood, network switches, bags of garbage, beds, couch, etc...
I'll never NOT be a pickup guy again. Far too handy to have a pickup truck!

Exactly what I use mine for. Don't have the camper yet though and won't be quite that big. And as Shadow said I will never not have a truck again. I contemplated buying a new Cherokee instead when I bought my current truck. But after having trucks I could stand the thought of not having one. Just such a versatile machine

It's my main mode of transportation, but I do use it to haul something if need be.

I have a million and 1 projects for my house, which is why I got the truck. It's a very nice DD too.

I use mine for a DD, work truck, play truck, travel truck...

I work in the ship repair business, so I haul up to 1500lbs of components in the bed. I also run my own company as a tractor serviceman.

But I also climb dunes, mountains, and blast through the desert with the old girl, and finally, I also tow my 18' camping trailer, with dirt bikes in the bed to the desert, and I just recently drove from San Diego, CA to Jacksonville, FL.

If that ain't a hard working truck, IDK what is....

The Ram is my DD and fun truck, but my SuperDuty is what makes me my money, but it stays 700kms away from home all the time. The Ram doesn't see a lot of use in the bed, but I am never afraid to use it as a truck when required. Complete set of multi-pass doors in it last week, many sets of tires and tools. I have a 1500 because I occasionally need the bed space, I have a F350 because I NEED a truck to haul 6 emergency responders, either a 18,000 response trailer or a hovercraft, and deal with all the crap roads in the northern Alberta oil patch.

DD, nothing in the bed yet, a 24 pack behind the seat 2 weekends ago. Planning to tow a small Legend boat once in a blue moon and haul an ATV in the fall. Till then, she's a pavement queen.
Got it for the comfort on the long highway drives and the safety of being up there.

I bought my truck specifically for towing a TT and so in that regard, it is used as a truck. Other than that typical homeowner stuff and occassionally I use it to get to work.
