Default Rust Around Tow Hooks

Is anyone else noticing small amount of oxidation on any of the chrome on their new trucks? I just bought a 2014 Laramie in January and noticed that I'm getting some discoloration of the edge of the chrome by my tow hooks. I have attached a picture, which aren't good, but you can start to see the chrome turning orange. My fear that these will start to rust quickly. I know it is small now, but I just don't this to turn into a bigger problem. Is their anything that I can do to stop this or will dealers replace them since it is so new? Any suggestions would be helpful and thanks in advance.

I would bring it to the dealer. I am sure they will say everything rusts eventually but not in 3 months.

I had the same thing happen to my lugs (See here: http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=169320) I bought from Discount Tire. They didn't even make it a whole winter. They gave me the option of the same or painted black for free or stainless if I pay the difference. I went with black. Hopefully your dealer will be as good if not better.

I have a new 2014 Longhorn and just noticed the black tow hooks are rusting. Paint is chipped off on the inside of the hook. No way they could have hit anything. I will mention it to the dealer next time in- but am not expecting much.

Gross! My truck has 13,400 miles on it and neither the bumpers nor the tow hooks have any sort of rust like that. Your dealer needs to get that fixed for you.
