I'm in for a year of ownership at the end of this month too, and pretty much agree on all counts. Don't have some of the luxuries you got and don't drive much at night so not as concerned with the headlights as most people. Negatives are fuel economy and the uConnect. Still have fun driving it though.

At least from what I understand that's exactly what it is. Maybe its a pushrod thing?

Well, I just passed the 2 year mark. I agree, the fuel economy isn't great, but I didn't buy a Hemi for economy. The headlights suck/ed, so I installed some PIAA bulbs, they are ok now. I turfed the stock stereo immediately, so that dealt with that issue. One thing I notice, is the brakes suck. At work, I drive new Fords and new Chevs and both have much better brakes. My only other complaint is the weak transmission. I would have a supercharger on there already, but I am afraid, very afraid......

PS. Mine is a 2011, virtually the same truck tho.

One year, 38,000 miles...no major problems.
Minor lighting issues (mostly caused by myself until I finally understood the LED light replacement problems when installing LEDs in a CANBus system. After reading the Mopar advisories on the matter.... no more problems.)
The headlights aren't any worse than others. I can live with them (and brighter bulbs can be installed if you prefer.)
Mileage is around 18-20 hwy and 16-18 city.
4.7 V-8 has plenty of everyday power and runs smooth. The hemi I rented was a true hot-rod...and fun... my foot would ruin the mileage claims. I don't need the hemi and am satisfied with the 4.7.
I wish the 4X4 could run full-time like my Grand Cherokee,.... but I admit I actually rarely need it on pavement anyway. It works fine on dirt, and I love this truck! (Used to be a dyed-in-the-wool Ford fan...but no more.

My last HEMI was a 2006 Chrysler 300C, and it had the hemi tick quite noticeable. My new Ram Sport is very quiet, but I use Penzoil Synthetic, and I guess that helps. It's no where near as bad as the GM LS piston slap when cold. My entire extended Family is 100% GM so I get to hear the Piston slap often.
