I've heard the water meth injection can be very harmful to Ur motor if for some reason it fails or u run out of fluid

Only running high boost without it can be harmful.
I'm tapped into my stock washer fluid tank, like many who have done this before me
so when the level gets low I get a dash warning light instantly .

I keep two 1 gallon jugs in reserve behind my seat,
and there's plenty of service stations that sell it should I ever run out.
at $2.99 a gallon its cheaper than Gas (any grade)

It is only needed and activated when I'm pushing over 4.5 psi of boost
So it really only sprays at full throttle, and it doesn't use very much when it does.
at 250psi with the jets so small the atomized mist evaporates very quickly cooling the charge to save my rings,
cleaning any sludge/carbon build up, increases octane to prevent detonation, and adding extra HP.

Please Tell me in detail what is so "dangerous" ...other than just saying you "heard" it could be harmful.

I've heard from the pro's at the track that it's stupid not to run it,
and certainly not doing any harm....its not Nitro Methane

No supercharger or turbocharger system is complete without a water methanol injection system. Whether your running an intercooled system or not, the benefits gained from alcohol injection are so profound, you simply can't afford to run without one once you understand and realize the benefits of it.
Benefits of Water Methanol Injection:
  • Lower air temperatures by 50-200+ degrees
  • Reduces cylinder temperatures by 200+ degrees
  • Increase your 87-93 pump gas by 15-20+ points
  • Increase horsepower safely by 10-15%
  • Allows you to safely run more boost and timing
  • Cools and protects the tops of your pistons
  • Longer more stable combustion expansion and progression
  • Removes carbon build up from combustion chambers, pistons and valves
  • Reduces & helps eliminate damaging engine detonation & pre-ignition
  • No need for expensive racing fuel or additives
You wouldn't drive your car with out car insurance. Now there's insurance for your motor. Protect your motor and the investment you have in your motor with one of our water alcohol/methanol injections systems. Below is our complete line of trunk mount systems. Our conventional under the hood fender/firewall mount kits are perfect for those who can't run our rear trunk mount systems. Below is our complete line of fender/firewall mount kits.

Do You have to dyno tune it with it?

No, its primary function is for detonation prevention and piston protection,
If you re-tuned to add timing (not recommended for a daily driver)
then yes, You would not be able to run without it.

Dont think of it as a performance mod, it's a piston insurance policy

...I'm sorry If I didn't make that clear.

You don't seem to understand how different octane levels work.
You can safely run 95 octane fuel on an 87 tune.

What you cant do is the opposite,
Higher tune with advanced timing on a lower grade octane fuel source.

As I mentioned earlier, it is only increasing your Octane at WOT
and in doing so prevents compression detonation before your spark ignites the charge (AKA Knock)

You shouldn't tune for 93 octane, (IMHO)
You can never be 100% sure that's what your getting out of the local pump
Fuel quality can vary, especially if it's an ethanol blend or Winter Gas.

That's why Ripp tunes for 91 octane
....which I run with 94 Octane fuel. (15% ethanol blend)

As a precaution I always run 1 grade higher fuel than what I'm tuned for.
adding W/M helps prevent knock/detonation when fuel quality is sub par

power gain is not from the higher octane, its from running cooler
similar concept as Nitrous Oxide, cooler air charge creates higher HP,
the water evaporates to do the cooling while the methanol prevents detonation.
