Default Kenwood Stereo installation problems

I recieved a Kenwood KDC-BT758HD head unit for my birthday. I installed it today with the Maestro RR and the Maestro CH2 harness. I also had to replace the Sirius tuner in the truck with a SXV200V1.

After flashing the Maestro RR and hooking up all the wires I turned it on and got the head unit to power up and I can control it from the steering wheel and remote. All looks good except ther is no sound from the speakers. I checked the power turn on wire with the key on and it has 12 volts.

In addition to no sound the check engine light has come on.

Can anyone point me to some possible causes for these problems

Does your rig have the OEM Infinity speaker system? If it does, you need a harness to either bypass or work WITH the new deck. I had the same problem with my Ram. The unfortunate part of my debacle is that they don't make a harness for the 02's/early 03's. They didn't start making a PAC harness until '04. So, while others are able to maintain use of their stock Infinity amps, I had to bypass it completely and until I get some crossovers, I can't use my stock dash tweeters...

Yes, I have the stock infinity sound system with 7 speakers. I got a harness from Crutchfield that they claimed was what was needed to use the stock amp. I also got the cable and "brain" for the steering wheel controls. They all work. Is there something more I need?

You sure the infinity amp turn on wire is hooked up to the HU blue remote turn on wire? I used the pac for my 08 and had no issues.

Yes, blue/wht to blu/wht on the Maestro harness which connects to Maestro RR unit. I have checked the voltage on the blu/wht wire and it does have 12 volts. I don't see where the blu/wht connects directly to the amp. I'm sure it changes color when it comes out of the Maestro RR. With the power on I can feel the amp is warm so I think it is getting power. I'm beginning to think there is something wrong with the Maestro. I think I may try the Pac unit. Any other thoughts?
