Default Zone 6" or rough country 6"

I'm looking at getting a 6" lift not sure if I want zone or rough country, whats the big differences. And do both work with bilstein shock.

Other question should I get in installed at a shop or do it myself?,

Thx

Zone hands down. I used to recommend Rough Country to everyone since the lifts were pretty much identical and the RCX ones were cheaper. But RCX has recently changed their 6" kits to use rear coil spacers for lift rather than new coil springs. For that very reason I'd go with Zone. Their 6" kit with the 5" rear coils and Bilsteins at 1.4" is a great setup.

As far as install goes that's something you really need to gauge for yourself. Look through the instructions for the kit to see what's involved and then determine if you feel comfortable doing it or not.

.7, 1.4, 2.1 and 2.8 are your choices, no 2.4. Also, to answer your question, we would need to know how tall the RCX spacer is.

You looking at a picture or reading a description? Believe it or not, it makes a difference.

Yup that's possible. Top Gun Customz also makes rear coil spacers for good prices.

Yes they are most likely not updated yet. I went through this with another forum member (macc08) a few weeks ago. He contacted Rough Country directly to confirm that they are only supplying rear spacers now, not coils.

Zone everyday and twice on Sunday. Their quality is pretty well ahead of RCX, not to mention they are owned and manufactured by BDS. Shoot us an email, sales@bullysperformance.com, for forum member pricing on any kit you may be looking at!

Thanks for the shoutout Brandon.

This is correct. I talked to a guy at RCX and they don't do coils anymore. My thoughts is profit margin.

Anyways, Def Zone. Its about 200 more then the RCX kit, but comes with coils (3" or 5", go with 5") and painted knuckles! RCX knuckles are unpainted and wont look to nice after a few thousand miles.

The setup I have planned is the Zone 6" with the 5" coils and Bils up front at 1.4. Not sure if I wanna leave my rear coil spacer (1.75") in or not and do bils at 2.1

Time will help me decide.
And definitely contact the guys at Bully's for the best price.
