Default pressure bleeding brakes

hi everyone,
I have a 1996 dodge ram 1500 5.9 liter and the brake pedal is mushy. i have a lot of bubbles in the new master cylinder rear reservoir. I'm thinking about doing a pressure bleed on the brakes. Are their any cons to doing this? Should the engine be running while i do this? Does the brake pedal have to be in any certain position while i bleed the wheel cylinders and calipers? Any advice will be appreciated. The pressure system I will be using will push new fluid from the master cylinder to the combination and RWAL valves to the wheel cylinders. How much fluid will i need to do the flush?

Never did the pressure-bleed. Only the vacuum bleed. But the pressure bleed is listed in the Factory manual as a service procedure. So no cons that I can see. Thanks for the link Yankee.

Hope you have better luck than I've had. I had some bad lines in the rear so I replaced the line and cylinders. I bled them like six times now and flushed with new fluid. I don't get a brake light or abs light anymore but ever since I hooked the rears back up my brake pedal goes to the floor and is soft.
