Question 305's on 2/4 Belltech Drop?

Hey guys, I have a 2/4 Belltech on my 2012 reg cab. I had a guy offer to trade me an almost new set of 305/50R20 Nitto 420s's for my stock tires...anyway, does anyone know for sure if these will fit without rubbing with the drop kit? Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

Question, do you have the gray powdercoated wheels or chrome clads? I think the gray powdercoated are 20x8 and the chrome clads are 20x9...so the 305 will fit fine on the clads, not sure on the gray factory wheels.

Thanks guys, this was alittle while ago...I went ahead and got them, 2012 5 spoke chrome clads. They rubbed the sway bar on full lock, so I got 1/4" spacers, they still rub on full lock, not nearly as bad, but I don't want to go any wider with the spacers...I have the belltech 2/4 btw

I was gonna say I didn't think they would run without spacers. 305's will not run on a stock 4th gen without 1/4" spacers. And for future reference Graygoose, I think you may have it backwards. It's the narrower (8" vs 9") painted rim that will sometimes allow a slightly wider tire without rubbing. This is because the 8" rim will pull the sidewall in more and create a tad more clearance than the same tire on a 9" rim.

Glad you got them working for you though. Enjoy!

I was just going off Nittos site, says the 305's prefer a 9" rim or larger, so you think the 305's will fit on an 8" rim?

Oh yeah, sorry, I think we were talking about two different things. I agree with you that I would probably be worried about a 305 on an 8" rim. I do think it would mount and run but everything I have seen recommends 8.5" as the minimum for a 305 and tire safety is nothing to chance with. Not to mention, it would probably look like crap with that much ballooning from the sidewall being pulled in so far.
