Default governor

Is there any way to take off the governor without a tuner kit or having to pay someone to do it

You will need a tuner, or a really good dealer. I think my Hemi cut out at 110 mph, Diablo Predator let me reset to 130 or so. The rating on most truck tires probably is no more than that, and I have never seen reason to go faster. Hemifever could raise it more, probably. The Diablo tuner will let you raise shift points too, I shift at 6,200 rpms.

Damn that highof a shift point huh well that makes those tuners sound better I didnt know they do that but than again I never paid attention to them. I dont ever really go fast either but when I do it cuts out at 105. I was reminded of it last night on how much I hate being governed

IT cuts out at 105 for a reason, what are your tires speed rated for? Stockers are 112...don't want to exceed the speed rating, bad things happen...

That and you have the 4.7 which extremely limits your tuner possibilities. I believe you have to get the bullydog hemi plus tuner. It will let you set your speed limited as high as 200 mph... Which is insane, and completely unnecessary. Also lets you set your rev limiter, and a bunch of other goodies. Safety first tho, like HemiLonestar said, bad things happen when you go faster than your rubber is rated for.
