mine still smells new after 4 moths and i drive with the windows down every time weather permits it. all my friends notice it too....."your call still smells new, wow"
after a weekend being parked out in the sun, the new car smell returns almost like day 1.
mine is not as strong to bother me. I did clean up the dash and doors with simoniz or whatever it's called and the seats with febreze, the new car smell was back after 3 days.

I'd love to get the new car smell back in my truck... But I haven't found an air freshener that comes to even closely resembling it.

Default new ram smell

Just stumbled on this thread...

Thought it was just me - bought a 2013 1500 limited as soon as was available for order, I have had it since last August and the 'smell' while less, is still powerful enough my wife refuses to ride in it for any significant length of time. Gave me some nasty headaches the first few weeks, then it started to tone down. My wife still gets them to this day...

I love the quality of the leather seats, but it's enough of an issue with the family I may need to trade it in soon....

My leather seat covers only had the leather smell for a very short time... Is there such a thing as a leather scent air freshener?
