I did my first oil change at 2700. I'll probably put 6000 miles on the truck a year, so I plan on changing once a year. I'll use a good oil like Pennzoil Platinum.

I change mine with Amsoil Signature which comes with a 25K or 1 year interval, unless severe service, and then it is 15K or 6-months which is where I am at, since I tow once plus per month. As long as you document your oil changes with mileage and receipts, you should not have a problem with warranty and keep in mind Amsoil has it's own warranty which will cover you if you have an oil related failure.
Yep, I use the signature with the Amsoil filters. I'm usually under 10,000 miles per year, so that's a once a year oil change for me. Should have just done it from the start. So lazy sometimes!

I have always been a 5000 mile oil and filter change kinda guy. But this time around, I'm going to trust the computers oil life percentage rating before changing my oil. Pennzoil Platinum Ultra and a Napa Gold filter for me.

Every 3000 for me. Castrol full synthetic. I understand the oil could go 6000 easily but it's the filter I don't trust. It can only filter so much before it starts letting some stuff through after a lot of use.

3k mile changes is a waste. 3k with synthetic, even bigger waste.
functioning oil filters actually filter finer particles the more they're used, not the other way around. If your filter gets plugged full at 3k, you have major engine issues...

Default 7000 miles

I got my oil changed at the dealer at 5000 miles in November 2013. Since then I have put on 7000 miles and still no oil change indicator light. I was wondering the same thing.

if you go by the OWNERS MANUAL
they can't claim that you violated the Warranty

Look at the Maintenance Schedules in that manual
& read the part about Taxis, Towing, etc.

I go between 6-7k between, or 30% life left. Don't care to push it past that.

I have always had a oil change schedule for all the family autos. I might stick with it with the New Ram!

Winter Oil Change-->Dec thru May
Summer oil Change->June thru Nov

This is my first auto with a OLM so I will have to see how far it lets me go. I will see how many miles have past when the OLM hits 20% left.

Right now I only have 1750 miles on the 5.7L. Just changed factory fill @ the 1500 mile mark. Poured in a Very Robust Mix of 5Qts M1 AFE 0W-20 & 2Qts M1 0W-40! The 5.7L Idles and Runs Very Smooth!

I'm up to about 22000 miles on my truck since sep. 2013 when I bought it and I do anywhere from 6500-7300 mile intervals. My cousin has worked for dodge for 20+ years as a mechanic and that is what he recommends and what he does in his 2013 1500 as well. Only with fully synthetic oil and mopar filters though. I'm not sure what intervals would be using different products.
