Default Starcraft Autumn Ridge 26RLS

Wife and I are looking at buying this as an upgrade from our current TT. Our truck is a 2013 Ram 1500 CC with the 5.7 Hemi and the 3.55 6 speed tranny. Trailer weighs 6130 and has a tongue weight of around 640 lbs. It is 30 foot long from back bumper to tongue. My truck has a tow capacity of 8800 lbs and a cargo capacity of 1500 lbs. I think I'm well within the weights, just wonder about the length. don't wanna do the white knuckle drive. what do you guys think? will this trailer/TV combo be good?

The GVWR is 8250 and your truck is 8800? After you and the wife you have a couple of hundred pounds left over. Water alone will cover that. It's a great looking trailer design but I think it's just a bit too much for your truck.

I have a 34 foot TT and no white knuckle!
The RAM pulls great! It's so powerful. I do have the 3.92, but I think you'll be alright with your truck

Yes the motor is more than up to the task. That is not issue. The issue is the towing capacity of the truck.

I've got a Dutchmen 261BHS, dry weight is 6873lbs, loaded scale verified 7200-7300lbs Axle weight ready for 2 weeks with 4 peoples. it's 33' tip to tale and I have a few hundred lbs left on my payload.tongue weight is 850-875 depending on if the Fresh tank is full. Bed of truck is always emptyand everythingwe need goes in thetrailer.

I have air lift airbags and ablue ox sway pro 1200lb hitch. The truck works and if I had 3.92s it would be ideal, but it gets me there without white knuckling

This is almost identical to my situation and exactly how I plan on handling it, although I don't have airbags, hoping the WDH will take of sag/sway issues. If I need airbags, what do you recommend and how much would they be?

Airlift 1000's are $87 delivered from Amazon Prime. That said, the WD hitch will take out all of your sag if you do it properly.

Are they easily installed?

If you use a jack and get your rear wheels off the ground it is pretty easy to get the bladders inside the coils. If you leave the wheels on the ground it is a bitch. Trust me I know. Then decide if you want an individual line to each bladder or use the T. If you want to see a war break out ask if you should use the T or not.

I have a Eclipse Evolution TT with a dry weight of 5200 pounds. I suspect, with everything I have on it, it is getting close to it's GVWR of 7000lbs. I also carry about 750lbs in the back. Keep in mind that my truck is a 2014 2500 4x4 with the 5.7L. It is so under powered I had to purchase a Diablo Sport tuner to ad additional HP and TQ. Haven't towed yet with it tuned but we shall see in a couple of weeks. Maybe I am used to my other truck with the 5.9L Cummins. It had now problems towing the trailer with that. I know, I know, should have stayed with the Cummins........
Anybody having problems with towing with a Hemi?
