I have the same issue. The rubber boot around the column shifter is cracking also. Never had these defects with any other vehicle i have owned.

I guess the boot around the shifter handle can be replaced also?

So, I need to order the antenna base (its pure white now)
The chrome shift cap (can I get black instead)?
And the boot for the shifter.

I always said the details were in the little things. Dodge was not listening.

You could always pop it off, take a little screwdriver and some sandpaper and get the chrome off. Then sand it down, prime then paint it flat black.

That's what I plan on doing.
