Default Stumbles out of the hole.

33,000 miles on my 2011 Sport. I run 89 octane from BP religiously. Just got it late last summer. I did the plugs at 32,000. OEM NGK's gapped. I drive fairly aggressively probably compared to some. Not a dangerous hotrod by any means but I don't putz. I live in a subdivision that doesn't have a controlled intersection to get out on a 45 mph road & if I see an opening I take it.

My Q is: my truck stumbles pretty badly from a stop. I haven't looked at the tach so I can't give any RPM's. I probably should have that info before posting this. Once I get straightened out of my turn for 20-30 feet or so it pulls like crazy. My next mod will be a throttle body, probably an 87mm from Moes. Will the TB fix the stumbling? I've turned off the TC & still get it. Not that I'm lighting up my pita stock wranglers that will be replaced soon.

x2 on the TM, and no the throttle body will not eliminate this "stumble" nor will it do any else except become a paper weight. do a search before you buy.

Can either of you explain torque management please? Is that something done with ones right foot?

I done a search on throttle bodies and see a lot of comments like, "huge difference in throttle response." That's what I'm looking for. I need to find where this lag is coming from somehow.

TM is a computer controlled nanny to force us to to go easy on our transmission and prevent us from hard quick rabbit starts. that is how they can give a 100,000 mile drivetrain warranty.

Hmm, Thank you, I wasn't aware of that. So where's the switch to turn that off? I hope that's what it is and not an issue with my truck. Like I said, I'm not flooring it, seems very restrictive by RAM but I can see how it would make the warranty work for them.

Does a good tuner have the capability to bypass the TM?
