Default 2007 Undercarriage rust

Team,

I have a 2007, SLT 1500 Quad Cab 4x4. It's in great shape, but underneath on the body it is starting to develop a little rust? Should I be concerned? What is the best way to get rid of it before it gets too bad? Thanks.

Steve

Remove all fender liners, clean everything as good as you can, spray rust converter on all the rust, turns it black and stops from rusting. Spray everything you can with truck bed liner. If you can remove the bed and flip it over, even better. Now spray inside the frame, doors, rocker panels with "Fluid Film" , "Crown Oil" or even used motor oil. Special attention above rear wheels , as the fore and aft brace is a salt/sand trap. Also, rear bumper needs to be bed linered well, as it gets sand blasted, and salt/sand will ride inside eating away.
