Default 2013 5.7 Spark Plugs..

I'm kind of curious as to WHICH spark plugs my 2013 5.7 Hemi has in it.
It's a laramie 1500 and some web sites say they came with Iridium (100k plugs) and other web sites say they came with Champion Copper (30k) plugs.

My owners manual says change the plugs at 30k so I'm a bit confused. That would indicate
that they came with Champs.

I've got a bit over 20k on her at the moment, so it's potentially coming up soon.
The specs say to only use MOPAR plugs gapped at 1.1mm but no part number.

No part number!?

Sorry no help from me except this. I was talking to the service manager about this and that during my 20K inspection and he made a special point of reminding me how important the 30K service was because of the plug change….. Playing a little dumb I said I thought plugs were at 100K?? He explained that the 2013 needed plugs at 30K and it was the best $350 I'd spend every 30K no matter what else I do.
I've known this manager for 15 years and I really believe he is NOT just trying to keep his techs busy. Others may disagree.

Can't you put iridium spark plugs and extend your interval period?

First look in your Owners Manual, it tells you when it should be done
I went 40,000 miles before i changed them the first time, everything looked real good
the 2nd time i went 50,000, the electrodes showed wear

Then Enter your vehicle specs into the Rockauto website to see what works, Engine then Ignition for Plugs
you won't beat their prices
Iridium Plugs may overheat the coils

Hey guys I have a 2013 and my manual says 100k for plug change. I'eve also read on this forum that they started doing 100k intervals on the 2013, check your owners manual.

The 100k interval started late in the 2013 model year. From what I understand, if your truck came with the 100k plugs the manual will say 100k. Mine was built in February of 2013 and has the 30k plugs (at least that's what the manual says). I plan to change at 30k, but I'm going to ask if they can put in the 100k plugs when they do. I have read that certain iridium and platinum plugs do not mate well with the Hemi coil packs, but some guys have gone with iridium/platinum without a problem. IDK if it depends on the brand of plug or not.

Anyone know what month in 2013 that they switched to the 100k interval and plugs? Mine was built in early July.
