I've been using Walmart Supertech brand for years and it's never failed me and it's cheap. If Valvoline or Havoline are on sell then I'll buy them but normally I just use supertech. The was an article in the paper a while back where a local guy had over a million miles on his ford ranger and when they asked what he did he said he changed his oil every 5,000 miles with supertech lol. I'm not saying it's the best but that changing it at proper intervals is much more important than brand. The only one i refuse to buy is Pennzoil/Quaker State.

I go with Quaker. I pick up the 1.25 Gallon + 1 extra quart + Oil Filter = 19.99 and do the oil change in 15 mins. I actually love coming around the 2800 mile marker it gets me excited to know im going to be working on the Truck Haha

quaker state is owned by pennzoil and I refuse to run pennzoil. People say that Pennzoil gunks your motor up but I don't think it's true but that's what I heard my whole life growing up so I just stay away from it lol. If your changing your oil every 3,000 miles then any brand is going to work just fine for you.

I use Mobil 1 5W20. I like a synthetic because of it's superior cold flow characteristics and it meets chryslers required ms-6395.

Default PennZoil Ultra

PennZoil has just came out with a new premium synthetic motor oil called Ultra. This new motor oil already meets several of the standards set forth in the next generation of motor oils (GF-5). It also has a TBN of 13 which means its a should handle extended oil changes without a problem. PennZoil Platnuim used to be Pennzoil best and for years oil anaysis reports showed that oil did an outstanding job in engine protection and keeping engines clean from 4 bangers to Hemi V8s.

Just changed to Amsoil. Only going by research, no real experience yet. Most important thing, though, is changing on a regular basis(before the oil wears out).
