Most recent pic I have with me in it. This was in July about 3am at the Clarks Hill Dam (GA).

Nothing worth braggin rights. Just a 8lb'er but they are fun to catch.

..... Looking at going to the Bay this weekend to get some of the 30+ pounders. Here is a couple pictures of some fish I caught a few years back.

108_0809.jpg I had long hair and 20+ pounds on me then......

Nice... They are fun fish to catch.

The dam is about 20minutes away from the house. I usually get a wild hair sometime during the week to head out there and spend the majority of the night on the water.

My biggest has been a 23lb'er. I caught it on a spoon in the middle of a school of herring in late January. It was freezing out there and I ended up catching that one and one 4lb'er the whole day. It was well worth it though.

I usually use live herring, but occasionally I break out the tackle box and throw some lures at them. What do you guys use where you go?

Most of the time we are pulling Mojo Rigs and umbrella rigs. The live bait is really our last resort. Never really fished for them at night, but will have to try. That is when I would try to pull the live bait. Large Bucktail Jigs and spoons are the best. My moto is the Bigger the better....!
