Anyone seen that puny excuse for a rear axle they use? I'd be scared to have a HEMI putting power through that thing...

It is the Detroit technology that makes the V-8 Hemi awesome sounding with great HP and Torque ratings, the European engines have their own sound (not attention grabbing like the Mopar), with lower HP and Torque ratings. The big $$$$ European engines have nice HP and Torque ratings, but not the average car.
My 3000Gt had hemispherical heads also. However, the heads may be curved in shape (as most engines currently are), but they aren't as hemispherical as the Hemi is, therefore they don't call it a Hemi. And yes, the current 'Hemi' engine isn't as hemispherically shaped as the old one was either, but it is more so than foriegn engines.

But when it comes to durable drive trains that will put up with the punishment and hauling capabilities, a Titan with a HEMI still is a drop in the ocean. Ford rules the durability, and the Cummins rules the hauling capacity.

I'm not worried, and good for Nissan for putting some balls into their next gen Titan, but I don't think it'll make much differeence except put more mexicans into employ while the americans that were making the current titan out of work.

good job guys
Nice to see a fellow albertan in the oilpatch! I have to agree %250 with everything you say, to a absolute T. Ford absolutely owns the oil patch for a reliable every day service truck, and a cummins will pull a mountain all day long, although the truck doesn't hold up quite as good as a base model ford, they're still leaps and bounds ahead of chevy and the imports as far as being able to rat bag for 3 to 400km a day and not have any problems. I use an 06 F250 5.4 XL for a service truck, and with 307,000km on it, all rat bagged oilfield kms from day one, we've replaced brake pads and rotors and the ball joints MIGHT need to be replaced soon, but it drives just fine so I'm happy with it!

Poo on nissan for buying the ram, I prefer diversity, but I guess this is the only way nissan can make a real truck! haha just joking

hemi used to literally mean something that now its a brand name and that brand name should stick w/ mopar and that is that I was under the impression taht dodge was going to help w/ the titan not let the titan be an rebadge ram like the raider and the dakota
