Default Airbag problem

So i unhooked the battery to weld my exhaust on and ever since the airbag light has been on? I also however that day wired a cb radio into the wiring for the spare 12 volt outlet under the cigarette lighter. Now it is saying on a scanner that my dr. and pas. squib circuit shorted and we cleared the codes and it keeps coming back up. Now i am wondering if there are many problems with the 04's and airbags or mabye a recall. Cause other then hooking up the cb and disconnecting the battery for a bit i didnt touch anything?

IF anyone could help would be appreciated, i went to dodge and they knew **** all and wouldnt tell me if there was any recalls or what not he did however say the pas side would be thrown of by the drivers side and it is the thing in my steering coloumn that controls the airbag that the scanner is saying has shorted?

Help needed light is annoying!

thanks
