Default 2002 Dodge Ram PCV location help

Gentleman, I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7L. I'd like to replace the PCV on this truck but for life of me I can not locate the blasted thing. Can anyone help shed some light on where this part is located?

Do you mean PVC or is there such a thing on the trucks as a PCV? Or they the same thing?

On an '02 Dakota the PCV valve is on the driver's side valve cover. Hope this helps.

PCV stands for Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve. I will check on the location.

Same thing I was thinking..Don't know why I've always called it the PVC.

I still can not find this basted PCV valve. Dodge has hidden it well or it's so obvious I'm just plain over looking it. Last resort may be to reference a Chilton's repair manual. Appreciate the feedback fella's. Thanks.

Hi there, I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7 and the PCV valve is located on the side of the engine oil filler tube, just below the filler cap. Hope this helps.

Find the crankcase breather hose and track it back to the valve cover.

Hi there, recently replaced the PCV valve on my 2005 Dodge, it was located on the side of the oil filler neeck, just below the cap. Hope this helps. You have to twist and pull to release it, then twist and push to locate the new one. For me it was only a $9 part.
