Default Need help, Lifting front using spacers

Is this a simple process or can anyone direct me to a write up. I have a 2008 ram 1500 2wd. I want to lift the front with the spacers. like these

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dodge...Q5fAccessories

Do I really need the shocks?
I see the write up in the auction but want to know of any first hand experience.
Thanks

you will need the new shocks because the stock ones are too short. it should not be hard to get them in there but get and alignment when you are done.

Here are some install instuctions for a front leveling kit.......I would suspect the spacers your reffering to are pretty much the same.....

http://www.trailmastersuspension.com...ions/DL222.pdf

As with any work performed on your vehicle......Read and understand the instuctions BEFORE you begin............hope this helps you out
