Question Ram models ....

You know I'm curious ... but I like to know things
I see there are a lot of different models and versions for Rams ... Laramie, Hemi, Bighorn, SRT10 ... etc...etc...

Who can show me and explain shortly the various models and variants ?

Thanks in advance!

I don't know if this will work in Italy or not, but try this website. When/if it opens, click on the red square where it says 'Build and Price', then you can play around and maybe answer your question!

Yes the link works, thanks ... but the only red square is the one with the 2009Ram (see pic); it brings me to the dodge official site where I can build my own 2009 model (nice game...), but this is only for the 2009 new model ...

Elle, go straight to dodge.com

but the reason you can only build the 09 is because that is what is available thru the website, that is how I got my 2007 nitro and how I will get my 2009(hopefully, still sweet tlkin the hubby) you build it, print it and take the papers w/ you to the dealership and they order it

If you play around in that site, you can choose the different trim packages, I thought that was what you wanted? I should think the trim packages have stayed much the same for the last couple of years!

THAT'S GOOD!!! ... lol

I've already builted my 2009 Ram ... it's a nice thing (I've reached more or less 35000$ ... a bit too expensive for me ... lol) ; but my question was more specific ... for example what's a Bighorn ? ... And a Laramie? And why on the top of this site the Ram on the left has chromes and is bigger and the Ram on the righ is lower and all red (without chromes). Sorry I'm totally ignorant about Rams...

the bigger one is prob'ly a 2500 or a 3500 and the smaller one is prob'ly a dakota, single cab

the bighorn and laramie are just levels of truck, like the cali is se, sxt, r/t....etc, the trucks come that way too, the dakota has the st, bighorn, laramie. then you change to a bigger ram and they have levels etc....

Ok. And when we talk about Hemi and SRT10 ? They are different kind of engines, right?
