Dodge recommends Mobil 1 I know, which is what I use.

...... I'm ok, thanks for asking!

Mobil 1 or AMSOIL............ Both Great Products! I have abused a couple SRT4's at the Track weekend after weekend and have never had a engine problem once. Oil was able to take the beating and still look good after 2k. That is of course when I changed it after that much abuse. Both are great oils and with the Amsoil you will not have to change it but every 6 month...... Or at least that is what I would do. You can actually go a year if you install the bypass filter.

I run all amsoil in my 4.7 cause its a damn good product and its alot cheaper in the long run. if you run their oil filter with their oil it has been proven that the oil will stand up for a year or 25,000 miles. they also have 100,000 antifreeze, greases.
