Default hey everyone>> new here and already have questions????

Ok, i have a 2000 dodge ram 1500 quad cab 4x4 short bed truck, ive owned it for about 2 1/2 yrs and i put 315/70r16s on it, prolly about a yr ago and ive had a little rubbing but not much theres no lift, sits stock as a far as i know since i bought it, but my question is why is the best of lift only pretty much for 2500 and 3500's ? is there a big difference in the way the 2500 is to the 1500 beside a leaf spring and such i mean i know one is more stout but is it all the same bolt up and stuff? cause its hard enuff trying to find a good kit for a 1500. and has anyone found any good splash shields? lol i know but i cant stop getting mud/sand in my plug holes and ruining my plugs and so forth but anyones help would be awesome thanks, mike

Welcome to the Ram 'Z' from Virginia. Glad to have you with us. The easiest way I found to post a link is to copy the name of the site, then link it using the 6th icon on top of message/reply window. Such as Member List.

Welcome to the Forum ph3, it seems as if you are ther type of person this forum needs. Full of enthusiasm and you have posted pics already, that should keep the piccy freaks off your back!
By the looks of your truck it is worked hard and hung out to dry, if we ever get a dirtiest truck of the month award, you could be in with a good chance of winning!
