Misty I have a friend in Edmonton and she's up against the same problem She goes to the Dodge dealer where she bought here Nitro and the just seperate her from as many $$$ as possible ,run her around the block so to speak and kiss her off.. Sad Sad situation ..But really you DON"T want to screw with this gadget valve...Unless your really pressed for $$$ ... If you do decide to do this job yourself ? Can you get someone to take a few pics of you in those tight pants upside down on the floor of your Ram ? I'm certain the male members here would appreciate them .At least I know I would ..Merry Christmas to you Sweetheart ... I hope Santa is good to you this year ..

Don't pay any attention to that, Misty.

Honest, if you do a little reading in the service manual, understand what kind of a system you are dealing with and the symptoms you are experiencing, then you can talk the service writer's language.

When you get there, explain your problem, then tell the service writer that before they go forward with any repairs, you want to know what they found as the problem, what they are going to fix and what they will charge BEFORE they do any work.

That way, you now know what to expect when you go to pick up the truck. Don't be afraid to ask why they have to repair or replace a certain part. Just ask questions so you understand what they are doing. Asking intelligent questions shows the service writer you aren't just someone who smiles pretty.

Then, when they tell you it's done, test it out. Start the truck, turn on the heat, let the rig warm up and check it. Don't leave the lot.

If you are not satisfied with the results, walk right back in and let the service writer know the problem is not resolved and they should check the truck system again.

Merry Christmas to ya and good luck with the repairs!

Michael

Misty ..Been there ? Hell Lady I couldn't begin to find it .. I'd be afraid to ask if anyone ever saw a red deer .They'd think I'd been doin that damn Loco again... But it sounds like Y'all are not very fond of the guys around Y'all... And I think you may have missed on Dog's comment .I think he's actually supportive of you and your ability to do y'all's mechanical work ...I know I'd enjoy watching you " twist your wrenches "..
