Default Some interior questions?!

hey, on our 04 Ram the lights on the inside of the climate control are out, they've slowly been going out 1 by 1 for a few months. If my information is correct then those are not really easy to replace right? its not a light bulb in there that can be swapped, but rather a whole circuit board of lights right? all help is really appreciated.

Also we have a stock cd player in there (not sure of the exact setup description) but my dad has talked about taking that out and putting in a nice Double Din setup with nav and all that. is it as easy as pulling the bezel off and swapping it from the single to a double? thanx again!

Yes, you'll find that the lights behind the HVAC controls are on a circuit board. The board needs to be replaced to fix the lights.

You'll need a specific bracket to hold the double DIN unit + if you want NAV to work, you'll need a GPS transceiver, antenna and cabling to make the connection. Another must is the NAV DVD.

Good luck with the projects!
