Default power seat shut off

i have a 01 dodgeram 1500
my passanger heated seat shuts off once in a while
lets say im driving with a passanger we both turn our seats on and about maybe 20 mins later the passanger light swtich blinks and the seat cools down you cant turn it off by touching it or swtich it to high or low what ever button you press will blink either side
how can i fix this problem my dad the perviouse owner thinks the lil light is burning out but is thats the case why would the seat cool off?
can anyone give me some tips or maybe the salution

Sounds like the relay in the system is overheating and shutting off. Relays do wear out. I don't have a wiring diagram for this but if you find the relay (underhood engine compartment fusebox) and change it out (they are cheap) you may have fixed your problem.
