Default Radio removal for 09 Ram

Has anyone removed the radio in the ram and taken pics.
I have not got one in here to do so with as yet. I have
some pending customers for the allgig that are curious.
If you have any pics please post them for your fellow forumers.

Thanks
Susanne

Default 09 Ram radio removal

I recently pulled the dash apart on my 09. There are screws visible when you pull the rubber trays at the top of the dash and at the rear of the gear shift console. The chrome trim ring must also be lifted strait up in order to get the dash apart. After having completed all of that just pry the lwer side panels ath the bottom of the console off. Lift up on the gear shift console and set it aside. All thats left to do now is pull the dash that surrounds the radio staight back. If the vehicle is equiped with the power plug in the dash there will be one 7mm screw to take out on the inside on the passenger side. Keep your 7mm socket out as it is needed to remove your radio.

I hope I have helped a few people as I did it by figguring it out on my own.

Default Radio removal 2009 Ram Quad w/o console

Hi, I have found only removal instructions for Ram with floor console so far.
mine has the shifter on the steering column and no floor console.
I am looking for how to access to hidden screws to remove the bezel.
Got the ones at the top under th little tray.
I expect there are 3 more but can't figure out how to get to them.
Possibly one behind the little box on the lower right (where some Ram have the 110V plug), and two somewhere behind the cup holder door?
thanks

I have the same style console. Were you able to locate the other screws to remove it? Thanks
