Default Rev limiter

I am jsut wondering if anyone knows how to remove the factory rev limiter or at leats jsut raise it a little bit? It sucks to have such a low limiter cause i get playing in the mud and jsut as i hammer down for a deep spot the damn thing bogs down on me, only way i can kinda avoid the bogging down from the limiter is keep it in 1st gear instead of drive.

SO if anyone knows anything about it please let me know!

thanks

Its an 04 laramie ram, hemi, awd version (another downfall i am working on changing), 4x4.

Thats another thing i am not sure if the awd has soemthing to do with the bogging down when accelerating in high revs or not thats why i am trying to figure it out. cause even in snow i give it to hang it out and it bogs down then it will rev up again after a second if you hold it but then bog back down really wierd.

how much does your rpm's droop when you feel the bog? It might be the trans shifting up and than back , since you said it doesn't do it if you leave it in 1st. i've experience that while doing a burn out.
any programer i've come across lets you raise or lower the rev limiter.
hope this helps

A programmer would also let you alter shifting points, so you could raise the entire scale, not only the max-rpm.
