Default How much faster will gears make you?

Well before I pulll the trigger, what can I expect in acceleration and 1/4 miles differences. I have the stock 3.21 and I am going to the 4.10s.

Anyone have changed gears, I'd like to know before and afters.

Trucks a 10 1500 with the Hemi.

In theory since the single cab R/T (4.10) runs 60 in a lil under 6 seconds, my quad should be close to 6 right?

Thanks for the help guys, I just want to beat some tundras...

Oh yeah, you'll definately drop some E.T. Just how much is up for speculation but I would expect to knock off around half a second give or take. In the 1320 half a second would get you about 5 lengths over a truck running 3.21's.

Holy shizzle, that will bring me into the 5's..

Current 0-60 was 6.3 on a stopwatch so plus or minus.1 or .2 for imperfection...

I love a 4.56 on the track, but if it's a daily driver, you may find it to be too much gear.

Ive driven a silverado with 4.56 but it had 35's. It wasn't to bad. How long does it usually take to install gear Randy, like say if Dodge did it?

If you have everything it shouldnt take more than a few hours. If you take it in the morning you should be able to pick it up in the evening.

Thanks Randy. One more question, any brand recomendations? Chrysler gears? And, do I need anything special with the rear end on my truck (limited slip) or can they re-use everything and just put in new gears?
