The only problem I seem to be having, knock on wood, is my grille rattles, especially when it is cold. At first, it sounded like the leaf springs, but when I tap the hood, I can hear it. I am going to ask the dealer about it, because there has to be a way to dampen that vibration thereby quieting the rattle. A friend of mine just laughed and said it's a Dodge thing. Must be, because the grille on my '81 rattled itself all the way off! Just hoping that doesn't happen with this one.

In my 08 on the highway about 90 + mph you hear a really bad wind noise almost as if the its the mirror or as if the window isn't up all the way but it is. The passenger side doesn't do it. Anyone have this problem before?

I get the wind noise, too, but not as bad as I would have expected, mainly at high speeds and on really windy days, I will hear a whistle. Perhaps the weather stripping on that side is not providing a sufficient enough seal?

If you have vent shades the noise is probably there. Mine was until I took them off.

Must be what I'm hearing sometimes when it's cold out sounds like something knocking under the hood but I can never find it start driving again and there it is but only when it's cold out

I notice that when I bury my foot in the gas pedal, a really nice sound comes out the back of the truck and everyone on the block looks and smiles

Well... my '09 is in the shop again, for two more "Bulletins" as they call them, not sure what for. They are also changing the muffler, which was ordered the last time, and now there is a rattley/clunking sound coming from the right front suspension. I called today and they say they have found the source of the noise and are "taking care of it". I'll see what they did to it when I pick it up this evening, if they are done with it, that is. I'll also post what all the bulletins were for.

Later,
Shawn

Ahhhhh..... See, that is what you get for being the test mules for the new 09's..... Hey somebody has to do it! THANKS.... One of the reasons I bought a LAST YEAR 08 ....... Still had a couple issues with rattling from doors and wind noise but those were fixed with the last oil change .....
