Default FlowMaster

Been contemplating chopping off the ole factory muffler, and replacing it with a FlowMaster 50 HD. Anyone have one? I liked the sound on the 'sound clips' that I found.

I've got a friend of mine who's pretty handy with a welder....

Thoughts?? Ideas? etc

Exco

go for it. worst that happens is you don't like it, put the stock one back on, and get what you can out of the muffler! since it sounds like your friend will do the welding, you're not going to be out a bunch of labor, just the beer/pizza to lure him out!

agreed, personally i would throw on a 40 or super 44, there most aggressive. but if your looking for good sound, but still subtle than your in the right place with the 50. good luck

I have the Super 40 and love it. I always get completments on how good my truck sounds. It has an amazing tone and I got some good HP gains.

I had the 50 Delta Flow on my 2004 Hemi and enjoyed it. Had a nice tone but still let people know you had a Flowmaster. Not quite as aggressive as some other ones at wide open throttle I think...

I have a 2007 Hemi an djust put the FM 50HD on and it sounds really good. Not too agressive, but a real good tone. Not much cab noise. The 40 and 44 have considerablly more cab noise, but they also have a more agressive outside sound as well. It is all personal preference.
