Default Noise in Rear end

I have a 07 Ram Quad cab 4.7, when shifting from park to reverse there is a noise coming from the rear end that sounds like gears being engaged. It also does it from neutral to reverse. I took it back to the dealer and they said they found nothing wrong! I know im not just hearing things. I really believe they never really checked it out! Has anyone else had this happen? It doesnt do it in any other gear, just reverse.. Ive never heard this kinda noise before in any kind of vehicle!!

how many miles you have on the truck? because i have been servicing these trucks left and right for there u-joints go underneath check the pinion seal for no visible leaks and turn back and forth by hand truck NOT RUNNING lol and rock it back and forth to see if the u-joints have play and if they do then replace them ive done just by finger counting prolly around 26 trucks so far and there mileage was from 45k to 60k or higher especially on the bigger trucks try this and let us know what you find
