i run cherry bomb extreme si/do. loud as hell. removed the resonators. the muffler itself is about 70-80 bucks. then you hav to count installation and extra piping...

so i guess around 300 or so

When you say "removed resonators". What exactly do you mean?

just cut the exhaust off in front of your factory muffeler and run just a catted exhaust and if you want it to exit go to a exhaust shop and have a 2.5 in pipe bent at a 45* angle at about 3-4 feet and angle it out in front of ur rr tire i did that for a buddy it cost 30 for the pipe and 25 for the 4in chrome tip it sounds great! i have full 3in no cat with a thrush muffeler and it has a really nice deep growl if you cut off ur cat it is exactly 3in at the y and you can run that streight back and put the thrush right on the end cost me 20 for pipe and 40 for muffler both sound better than any duals i have ever heard

it all depends on how you like your noise, for instance, i purchased some mufflers from a well know company, they manufacture 2 & 3 chamber mufflers, i bought the 2 chamber mufflers for my '56 chevy pickup & i loved them, made noise all the time, inside & out, my friend bought the same companies muffler, only in the 3 chamber style, he didn't want to hear the exhaust inside his '57 chevy bel aire

The Rams have resenators attached to the exhaust to keep em sounding a little quieter. If you remove them then you will get more flow and more sound. I did it with my truck and I have to agree with JJG loud as hell haha

Is your truck equipped with the MDS system? I would like to see and hear the cherry bombs. Do you have any pics or links I could check out? I want the CB extreme on my 2010 hemi ram but I dont know how they will sound with the MDS system. Dodge should of made the MDS hemi with a disable switch on the dash. Just like the traction control. Traction control in 4WD is useless.

I just bought a flowmaster 40 series for $60 which is cheap. Its a 3inch single inlet and 2.5 inch dual outlet. It makes the truck sound like a beast. Best buy I have made for the truck yet. As for having the exhaust run out the back it will vary from shop to shop but probably somewhere around $500 thats including muffler, tailpipes, and tips.

Hey man if you want to go with true duals it would make a hp difference. If you go with just a dual outlet then your not going to get more power then a single outlet. i would go true duals if I were you
