Default Plastic vs. spray on

my truck came with a under the rail bed liner , i dont like it as the front still goes over the top of the bed. after just 1500 miles there is a mark all along the front of the bed from where the lip goes over the box and has been rubbing .
my question is who has a spray in bed liner and how do you like it ? is it durable ? i throw ALOT of shyt in the bed and am worried a spray in bed liner wont last. so lets hear the opinions on spray in bed liners versus plastic drop ins.

ok here's the thing with the plastic liner in there water gets under it very easily and it rust out your bed way to easy i would have never have one in my pickup, i do have a spray on bedliner mine is a line-x and they have a life time warranty so if it chips they take it off and respray it. as for the durability i got 40,000 miles on it not one little ding and there is always something being thown in the back. the line-x is expensive but was worth it for me you can find them in a number of prices so keep a lookout

I also have a under the rail bed liner and can tell you I am not a fan. The only reason I have it is that it came with my ram. I had a rhino in my Dakota and had over 40 k of junk thrown on it with only one area of wear. I have had hauled wood, coal, moved numerous friends, had carcasses from hunting, and son on with no complaints. The shop fixed it for free.

I would definitely go with spray on, but with my experience, go with a reputable brand. I am unfamiliar with the others.

I am a Line-X fan. Although my new truck has a bed liner in it now (it was free). Maybe down the line I will get Line-X.

Line-X is awesome. I have had it for the last 40k since I have owned my truck, and the previous owner but 50k on it. My truck had a capper and there is NO telling that a cap has sat the rails. Mine has only chipped from hitting it hard with metal, and Line-X will fix it. I also have a few marks from slag, lol. Compared to the rhino liners I have seen, the Line-x looks to be much less bumpy. It has very small ridges like a sandpaper that keeps things from sliding around, and stuff from hurting the bed.

Spray on liner definitely! And as said earlier, go with a good one. I've used Rhino and Line-X on other trucks and they are both good linings.

You are experiencing the fatal flaw with plastic drop in liners - they move and wear away the paint.

I sprayed rhino so far it's good. just avoid to load tough stuffs(blocks, metal things etc..)but just use drop in liner till it's broken. then spray it.

I've had the Rhino Liner in 2 trucks. no complaints (other than the cost of purchasing it). I've got the OEM drop in type now, I pretty much hate it, and plan on replacing it with a Rhino, just got to wait until I've got an extra $400 just sitting around.

did not have any troubles in either of the trucks that I had the Rhino in. No chipping, denting, or any other blemishes. The non skid works great too
