Camshaft upgrade . . . then maybe look at heads and headers. Is forced induction an option (super or turbocharger?).

Cam, heads, lifters, headers. Port, port match and polish the intake and exhaust ports.

Beyond that you are talking a stroker or forced induction.

i had thought about a new cam but im still in high school and money is a little tight with only a part time job. and then there is also the whole dilemma that the more power i make the less gas milage i get, if im going to do anything it would be caming it. and if i would, is there any specific cam i should get?

what exactly do you mean by "dog"? I got basically stock (have a CAI) but no exhaust or cam or any other performance upgrades and it moves pretty good. Also I have the 5.9 magnum in it. For something so large it moves pretty quick off the line.

Maybe there is something else going on that you haven't thought of

like everyone else said get a CAI you'll get a little more off the low end. Its been tuff to find but try and find a programmer/tuner/chip for the 00 Magnum engine. They used to make them but now that the Hemi is available it a little harder to find. There have been a few other posts about chips in the performance threads find them to get manufacturers info
