Default crank position sensor problems

hey guys i'm new to this forum, glad i found it. i broke a belt on my 04 ram diesel, which took out the crank position sensor. i replaced the sensor and it ran for 10 miles then acted like the sensor went out again got another one and now it doesnt run at all. wtf. any help would be greatly appreciated
