Default Magnaflow

I have a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi Quad Cab i want to put a magnaflow muffler on it to replace the current stock muffler what are some of you running on your trucks right know plus there is a catch to all of this i just want the truck to sound better than the stock muffler but not to loud and i do not want it to resonate in the cab or decrease my fuel mileage and i most certainly do not want to put dual exhaust on my truck any suggestions and if you already have this type of set up do you have any pics of your you can post

Thank you

magnaflow makes several different mufflers to help out in what ur looking for. If you go on their website and check them out u can listen to how they sound with a recording that they did. Remeber the bigger the muffler the quieter it will be but do to the muffler being a higher flow than stock it may have a different tone. Also you dont want to just replace ur muffler. Most muffler shops will not just install a muffler because the muffler will require bigger piping from the cat back. hope this helps, also keep flowmaster in mind as well I personally run the 50 series delta muffler and i have true duals.

believe it or not, dumping the exhaust right after the axle is quieter and less prone to drone then duals out the rear... I've changed my setup numerous times and love the setup I have now... 3" true duals to 3" di/3.5" so dumped over the axle. I can have a decent (even quiet) conversation in the cab and the muffler isn't over bearing. I've run both Flows and magnaflow....flows are loud...mags tend to have a more defined lower muscular tone to it
