Default Stacks on a gas?

i know they sounds good on the deisels but how about on gas? ive already lookd around at kits and found they also fit on gas but my main question is how they sound? we just got the truck and when we got it, the exhaust was coming right out of the cat. so i threw my flowmaster on there thats off my wheelin rig, and it sounds awesome. i dont know if i want to spend $600 and find out it sounds like crap.

Depends on what you put on for a muffler below the stack. If you find a muffler you like, the sound out of the stack should be awesome.

I have seen a Red Chevy riding around here with black stacks. Not sure what muffler he used or if it's just the gas motor, but it sounds like an out of breath hippo. I know the Dodge would sound better!

Stacks don't sound any better than pipes, stacks are to get the black smoke in the air and not down low. I like the looks of pipes better IMO.

I saw that Chevy again yesterday. Now he has one of those knock off Road Armor front bumpers on it. On a regular cab shortbed no less.
